Background
Ms. Lorri Zella holds Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Geology. She is a licensed engineer in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, a LEED Accredited Professional with a BD+C Specialty, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.
Ms. Zella has 20+ years of broad-based experience in various practice areas, including geotechnical investigations and various drilling methods, as well as earthen dam design and monitoring; public and private landfill permitting, compliance, design, and groundwater monitoring; and Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). Ms. Zella has extensive field engineering knowledge and construction consulting, particularly in the areas of grading, drainage, earthwork, and site layout. Her land development design experience includes erosion and sediment control plans, sanitary and stormwater sewer plans, grading and earthwork analysis, roadway and parking lot design and layout, and stormwater management plans, including stormwater detention, underground systems and ponds, and post-construction stormwater quality control measures.
Ms. Zella has years of power industry experience in both generation and transmission/distribution capacities. She has served in multiple roles, assisting power plants on waste-related matters, building a new transmission project estimating department, project planning and management, and company asset renewal and management.
Additionally, Ms. Zella has sourced, financed, and renovated numerous residential properties while serving as a property manager and owner.
