Background

Mr. Michael Ficker is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states with 30 years of experience in the design, evaluation, and retrofit of structural systems. He has evaluated structures that have sustained damage from a multitude of causes, including adverse weather conditions, collapse, construction defect, fire, and foundation movement. Mr. Ficker has assessed single- and multi-family residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional structures to determine the cause, extent, and repairability of damage and to evaluate code compliance. He is also experienced in the design of new structural systems, as well as the retrofit of existing structures. Mr. Ficker holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering.
