Michael Hollywood, IAAI-CFI (V), NAFI-CFEI, CVFI

Background

A graduate of Neumann University with a Master’s degree in Organizational and Strategic Leadership, Mr. Michael Hollywood is a certified fire investigator.  His professional career has spanned 30 years as a Fire Investigator, Assistant Fire Marshal, Fire Officer, Fire Instructor, and Firefighter/EMT. He has investigated and determined the origin and cause of over 1,000 dwelling fires, multi-alarm fires, and auto fires, many of which resulted in million-dollar losses. He has investigated 10 fatal fires, 4 with multiple fatalities and serious bodily injuries, as well as assisted other investigators with multiple fatalities and losses.

Mr. Hollywood’s forensic expertise extends to commercial and residential fire investigations, vehicular fire investigations, and marine fire investigations. His professional experience includes work as a fire officer, instructor, fire investigator, and inspector for the Philadelphia Fire Department.

Mr. Hollywood is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) with the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI). He possesses wide-ranging knowledge of fire investigations due to his experiences as a Firefighter, Officer, and Assistant Fire Marshal with the Philadelphia Fire Department. Mr. Hollywood is also a court-certified expert in the field of fire origin and cause determination in federal courts.
