
Background
Mrs. Natalie Regan holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural engineering and holds a certificate in Construction Management. She is a registered professional engineer in 14 states and a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. She is a Certified Structural Peer Reviewer with the City of Chicago. She has over 25 years of consulting engineering experience in all aspects of structural assessments on buildings and other structures, including extensive knowledge in structural analysis, design, evaluation, and inspections.
Mrs. Regan’s past experience includes forensic inspections, structural condition reports, structural peer reviews, structural analysis, design, inspections, earth retention design, as well as other engineering and project management services for structures. She has performed structural design work on rehabilitation construction projects and new construction projects utilizing steel framing, bolted and welded connections, cast-in-place and pre-stressed concrete, post-installed anchors, high tensile-strength wires, foundation systems, masonry design, and timber designs.
Mrs. Regan’s forensics experience includes a wide variety of investigations on all types of buildings and other structures, including, but not limited to, evaluations of roof systems, building envelopes, foundations, masonry, timber, floor coverings, and wall claddings. Mrs. Regan has wide-ranging experience in structural damage assessments from a variety of reported incidents, including accidents, vehicle impacts, floods, storms, snow, water intrusion, catastrophes, fires, vibrations, and construction-related defects. She has provided consultation to insurance professionals, contractors, attorneys, risk managers, and property owners concerning structural and property damage evaluation, failure causation, construction defects, code compliance, deferred maintenance, and repairs/remediation for structures.
Mrs. Regan has extensive experience with all aspects of building design, structural assessment, structural peer reviews, and earth retention systems. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Regan has performed thousands of building designs, earth retention designs, structural condition reports, and condominium assessment reports.
