Background
Mr. Nicholas Ginella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton and is a solutions-driven consultant with over four years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry. His background in civil and structural design enables him to integrate strong technical engineering expertise with forward-thinking project management strategies.
Mr. Ginella has a strong foundation in civil and structural engineering built through hands-on design and inspection experience across a diverse catalog of landfill, agricultural, and site development projects. His design expertise spans site layout, foundations, grading, earthwork analysis, erosion and sediment control, concrete retaining walls and pits, stormwater management systems/structures, landfill cell management systems (leachate, offset gases, etc.), and livestock feed and waste management systems/structures. Additionally, he has on-site construction support experience including conducting site inspections, performing GPS surveying, concrete and materials testing, earthwork compaction testing, and preparing detailed reports for clients and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure compliance and project success.
Mr. Ginella’s project management background is rooted in leading complex commercial construction projects in both general contracting and roofing trade operations. In his role as a project manager for a general contractor, he managed all aspects of renovation and site development projects valued at up to $15 million including planning, financial management, scheduling, and on-site execution across occupied Class A high-rise buildings and government, academic, and office campuses. As a project manager for a national commercial roofing contractor, he directed the planning, procurement, and installation of membrane and asphalt-based roofing systems for tear-off/reroof, roof recover, and new construction projects, ranging in scope from minor repairs to large-scale installations up to 400,000 square feet. In both positions, Mr. Ginella routinely inspected sites throughout all phases of construction to evaluate structure and site conditions, assess and resolve issues, and verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
