Background
Ms. Pami Howell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University. She has experience in product research and development, vehicle dynamics, HVAC design, construction administration, management of residential renovations, and property management.
Ms. Howell began her forensic experience in college with an extended internship in vehicle dynamics and biomechanics. Upon graduation, she expanded her expertise into HVAC design. She worked in New York City, primarily in existing high-rise buildings, finding creative solutions to cool high-occupancy spaces with large equipment loads. These projects included tenant fit-outs, chiller plants, cooling towers, and UPS systems. Ms. Howell has experience in product research and development, having designed and built the mechanical components of controlled environment measurement systems for pharmaceutical testing and development. Additionally, Ms. Howell has designed, created construction documents, and managed construction projects for residential renovations while serving as a property manager and independent contractor.
Ms. Howell provides analyses of HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems and failures. She has received training in accident investigation and reconstruction. Ms. Howell is a certified technician for the removal, download, and reading of airbag control modules for passenger vehicles as well as a certified small, unmanned aircraft systems remote pilot.
