Ryan Anderson

Background

Mr. Ryan Anderson specializes in property damage assessment and valuation. He is primarily involved in large and complex fire, water, and storm losses throughout North America, including catastrophe events such as floods, tornados, and hurricanes. He has extensive experience in the restoration and mitigation of single-family, multi-family, apartment buildings, townhome complexes, senior living facilities, educational facilities/universities, retail shopping centers, and manufacturing facilities. As a building consultant with Rimkus, he serves clients by inspecting and assessing reported damages, providing rough order of magnitude and detailed repair estimates, site monitoring of project progress, reviewing mitigation/rebuild scope and invoicing, appraisals, and communicating with contractors, owner representatives, and public adjusters.

Prior to his work as a building consultant, Mr. Anderson managed remodel and restoration projects for general contractors, commonly working with housing redevelopment authorities, local/state government entities, building code officials, and commercial/residential property owners. His varied experience as a construction estimator, project manager, and building consultant has provided him with a balanced perspective and in-depth knowledge of the residential and commercial construction industry, construction contract practices, general contractor and sub-contractor standard of care, appraisal, subrogation, and the insurance claim process.
