Background
Dr. Fatiesa Sulejmani holds a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University, and Peking University.
Dr. Sulejmani’s areas of expertise include biomechanical analysis and assessments, medical device design and analysis, cardiovascular biomechanics, mechanical testing, and computational modeling. She employs biomechanical principles and methods of vehicle accident reconstruction to analyze injury consistency and the potential of injury causation in vehicular collisions, slip and fall events, as well as other accidental events.
Dr. Sulejmani’s research has consisted of both national and international collaborations, as well as collaborations with industrial partners. She also speaks English, Albanian, Italian, French, Spanish, and Russian.
