Mr. John J. Pittman holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and is a registered/licensed professional engineer in the State of Washington.  Mr. Pittman was a sole proprietor for over 30 years as a consultant preparing site development construction documents for property developers in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.  This includes stormwater control, site grading, roadway design, temporary erosion and sediment control, water main connections, and sanitary sewer main connections.  Over this time, he provided engineering services of various scopes and magnitudes for over 500 projects, including short plats, full plats, residential home development, warehouses, industrial parks, and mixed-use buildings.

Additionally, Mr. Pittman has been a building/property inspector for over 30 years, specializing in pre-purchase inspections directed toward potential home buyers and real estate investors.  He also provided specialty structural inspections to verify proper and code-compliant tie-down procedures for relocation companies and for various loan requirements, including those geared for FHA/VA loans.  Over this time, he performed over 5,000 inspections of varying degrees and sizes in the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and government sectors.

Furthermore, Mr. Pittman specialized in field inspections for municipal utility line replacement projects.  He performed daily field inspection reports and interacted regularly with contractors and government officials to troubleshoot potential conflicts including intersections/conflicts of underground utility lines, unknown underground site conditions, and coordination of change orders.  These multi-faceted projects also included interaction with the local residents and homeowners.
