Mr. Josh Held graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator.

As a consultant, Mr. Held has participated in several hundred forensic investigations. His experience includes investigating failures in all types of mechanical and electrical equipment. He has routinely provided damage assessments, repair vs. replacement analysis, and cost reviews for claims involving equipment damage from fire, water, lightning, hail, accidents, vandalism, and other causes. He has frequently provided assistance in evaluating equipment and mechanical failures involved in fires.

Mr. Held has testified in depositions regarding origin and cause, damage assessment, and cost analysis.
