Mr. Scott Fox is an International Association of Arson Investigators Certified Fire Investigator, Nebraska State Certified Law Enforcement Officer, Nebraska State Certified Fire Firefighter, Hazardous Materials Technician, and Emergency Medical Technician.

Mr. Fox has an extensive background in the areas of firefighting, fire investigation, criminal investigation, and fraud investigation. As a fire investigator, he has conducted origin and cause investigations on fatal structure fires, residential fires, commercial fires, vehicle fires, and post-blast investigations. He has conducted over 1,300 fire investigations including large, multi-million-dollar commercial losses, and organized and supervised major fire investigations coordinating multiple disciplines.

Mr. Fox is currently a Captain in the Omaha Fire Department Fire Investigations Unit and has been a firefighter with the Fire Department in Omaha since 2002. He is currently a sworn police officer with the Omaha Police Department, with the duties to investigate all crimes associated with fire/explosion investigations. He is charged with the criminal apprehension of all arson suspects. His duties also include the training of new fire investigators.
