BACKGROUND:

A graduate of Rowan University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Ms. Stacey Cherichello is a registered professional engineer with 20 years of consulting engineering experience. She is also a certified municipal engineer in the state of New Jersey and an ASNT-certified Level I Thermographer.

Ms. Cherichello’s areas of civil/structural engineering expertise include analysis and evaluation of building settlement and collapse; hurricane, fire, flood, hail, and wind damage; structural impact damage; moisture intrusion through building envelopes; roofing system failures; concrete failures; concrete, masonry, and foundation cracking and movement; retaining wall distress; floor finish failures; pool failures; design deficiencies; and construction defects. Her premises liability investigation and analysis experience cover many areas, such as paths of travel; construction contract compliance; overall code and ADA compliance; trips and falls in parking lots, ramps, and public right of ways; and interior and exterior building features. She has also designed and evaluated stormwater management systems; site grading; roadway culverts, dam structures, sanitary sewers, and subsurface sewage disposal systems; utility infrastructure; hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of river systems; flood plain management; pavement design distress; site layout/design; code, ordinance, and regulatory compliance; stormwater management quality/quantity control; and low-impact development techniques (structural and non-structural).

She is also knowledgeable in municipal engineering matters, including construction management, and possesses experience in various land development applications in the state of New Jersey for both residential and commercial uses, including compliance with flood hazard area control, freshwater wetlands and transition areas, soil erosion and sediment control, historic preservation, and county and municipal permitting agencies.
