Background

Mr. Thomas Kosanda holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin. Mr. Kosanda has engineering consulting experience in various industries, including residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, roadways, and agricultural. He has also helped resolve premises liability issues, including slip/falls, trip/falls, and code compliance.

Mr. Kosanda has extensive experience with a wide variety of land development and transportation projects for industrial, commercial, municipal, and residential clients in the public and private sector. He is especially knowledgeable in the areas of grading and earthwork analysis, utility layout, and the design of stormwater management systems. Over the course of his career, Mr. Kosanda has been responsible for many aspects of the development design process, including due diligence, conceptual planning, preliminary and final engineering, cost estimation, and permitting. Mr. Kosanda has engineering consulting experience in various industries, including residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing, as well as premises liability, including slip/falls, trip/falls, and code compliance.

As a forensic engineer, Mr. Kosanda applies his extensive site development design and construction experience to the analysis and investigation of residential, commercial, and industrial site issues, including foundation settlement investigations, grading and drainage evaluations, stormwater management system assessments, roofing installation and hail damage evaluations, premises liability, moisture intrusion/water damage, vibration damage, and general construction defect determinations.
