Background

Mr. Dustin Leduc holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University with a structural emphasis and a Minor in Economics. Mr. Leduc is a licensed engineer in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Florida, Mississippi, Montana, Texas, and Louisiana.

Mr. Leduc has engineering and consulting experience in the municipal, transportation, and land development industries; commercial construction; and residential construction. Mr. Leduc’s experience and knowledge center around contract compliance, materials testing and compliance, and performance.

During his time as an engineer, Mr. Leduc has become an expert in the design and construction phases of projects including subsurface utility excavation investigations, utility relocations, design review, bidding, cost estimating, scheduling, specification writing and review, stormwater pollution prevention planning and inspection, quality assurance, materials testing, construction administration, project closeout, structural damage evaluation, and cause and origin analysis. During his career, Mr. Leduc has hands-on experience working with material and systems such as concrete placement, asphalt placement, surface drainage, temporary traffic control, permeant traffic control, erosion control, public outreach, plan and specification review, contract compliance, field design changes, temporary pavement markings, permanent pavement markings, aerial and underground private utilities, public utilities, surveying, landscaping, and residential and commercial construction, materials, and administration. Mr. Leduc’s time working for public organizations has made him very adept with site inspection; standard civil engineering practices; standard of care practices and procedures; construction means and methods; Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and specifications; material testing standards such as MnDOT schedule of materials control, City Engineers Association of Minnesota, ASTM, and AASHTO; and Safety Standards such as OSHA, confined space entry, and fall protection.
