Background
Mr. Marc Leonard holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and an M.S. degree in Structural Engineering. He is also a registered professional engineer in Florida.
Throughout his career, Mr. Leonard has performed and supervised the design and construction of new construction, modifications to existing structures, and damage repairs from the initial client contact through the completion of construction. He has coordinated efforts of structural and drafting department personnel to produce concise, constructible design concepts and accurate construction drawings and specifications. His experience includes civil/structural engineering design and analysis of residential, commercial, and municipal structures.
Mr. Leonard’s forensic engineering experience includes in-depth condition surveys and damage inspections of structures, buildings, and facility components. His experience also includes years of restoration project management, including failure analysis, cost estimating, and feasibility studies for residential, commercial, and parking structures.
Mr. Leonard’s professional experience also includes geotechnical investigation of residential, municipal, and commercial environments and structural analysis. His experience in geotechnical testing particularly focuses on the identification of sinkhole activity and the relationship of damage to structures underlain by sinkholes.
Mr. Leonard is experienced in the design of soil improvement programs, including sinkhole remediation, such as grout monitoring and pin pile design.
