Background
Mr. Brian Giachino is an International Association of Arson Investigators IAAI-CFI-Certified Fire Investigator, Certified Fire Officer II, Hazardous Materials Technician, Certified Bomb Technician, and FAA Remote Pilot/Small Unmanned Aircraft System Operator. He is also a Certified Private Investigator in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Mr. Giachino has more than 30 years of public safety experience holding numerous ranks for the Cedar Rapids Fire Department in Iowa. While at Cedar Rapids Fire Department, he was a member of the Hazardous Devices Unit Bomb Squad. He graduated from the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigations Ordnance Munitions and Electrical Maintenance School in 2005 and provides expertise in incendiary and explosives. Mr. Giachino has experience in building construction, has completed the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Structures Specialist course, and has applied his training in the urban search and rescue task force environment deploying to several natural and man-made disasters. He has conducted and supervised origin and cause fires for his agency from 2008 through 2024.
