His expertise includes inspecting and documenting collision sites and vehicles, as well as downloading event data recorder (EDR) data from passenger vehicles. Additionally, Mr. Berryhill applies extensive mechanical engineering knowledge to forensic mechanical evaluations and failure analysis on a wide range of systems, including consumer products, appliances, hydraulic equipment, plumbing, HVAC systems, vehicles, and farm equipment. |

He holds numerous professional certifications related to the investigation of fires and explosions in structures and vehicles, including Certified Fire Investigator (CFI), Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) through the National Association of Fire Investigators. Dr. Courtney Cox is a Senior Consultant with expertise related to injury tolerance and sex-based differences in the lumbar spine. She has conducted extensive research into the importance of musculature during dynamic loading conditions. Her research areas include head, neck, and lumbar spine biomechanics for automotive and vertical impact loading conditions. Dr. Cox’s projects range from material characterization of human tissue to the effects of head-supported mass on neck loads. She is responsible for providing injury consistency analysis and biomechanical evaluations for human injuries sustained in various practice areas, including vehicular crashes, slip and falls, and sports and recreation injuries.
