Background
Manny Afrooz, P.Eng., is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario, a PMP, a LEED AP (BD+C) certified professional, and a member of the Canada Green Building Council. Mr. Afrooz has developed his design ability by working on many different types of buildings (hospitals, industrial buildings, Pearson airport facilities, schools, self-storage buildings, hotels, etc.). He has designed one of the biggest Geothermal fields in Canada with 300 bore holes for two, 30-story multi-residential buildings (Harmony Village) in Toronto. Mr. Afrooz continued with his professional practice in 2018 by joining Rimkus as a Mechanical Engineer applying his extensive years of design and project management experience, knowledge, and background in Mechanical Engineering.
With over 25 years of extensive experience in new design, maintenance, service, supervision, project management, and administration, Mr. Afrooz continues to excel in his role with expertise and an excellent track record of successful completion of numerous mechanical design projects. He has demonstrated himself to be a proficient and accomplished Mechanical Engineer in good standing in providing professional engineering services to new clients. He communicates directly with the necessary authorities and clients to ensure designs comply with codes and meet the customer’s requirements.
