Background
Mr. Renz Reyes is a registered professional engineer in the state of New York. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Mr. Reyes’ professional structural engineering experiences include design, analysis, and construction administration of projects including low- to mid-rise buildings, such as schools and hospitals, two- to three-story houses, retaining walls, and mass transit stations, below ground, above ground, and elevated. He has design experience with steel and concrete structures as well as remediation design of such structures. He also has design experiences with timber/wood framing and light steel framing. His construction administration experiences include providing corrections or solutions to unforeseen field conditions, design deviations and/or construction errors.
Mr. Reyes has been involved in the design remediation and construction of damaged single- and multi-family residences. He has experience working on design-build projects that have challenging schedules and design demands. He has knowledge of codes such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI, and NDS and has extensively used them in his design experiences. He has experience in inspections of existing conditions for analysis, evaluation, and remediation design. He also has extensive experience with drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
