Background
Naz has 20 years of industry experience within Southeast Asia, Qatar, and Ireland, predominantly as a Consultant Quantity Surveyor or a Claims Specialist Consultant, representing large and specialist contractors, developers, and law firms, in all aspects of claims, contracts, and dispute management.
The size and nature of projects which Naz had personally been involved with range from multi-million-dollar Malaysia landmark projects such as the Penang 2nd Bridge, Light Rail Transport 3 (LRT3), Subang Skypark Double Trackwork, and Double Trackwork from Gemas to Johor Bharu, to large international projects such as the New Doha International Airport (NDIA).
Naz is a practising Adjudicator on matters relating to payment disputes. She has also been numerously appointed by legal firms, contractors, and developers as an Expert Witness or Independent Expert for quantum-related matters in Malaysia and has testified in Malaysian courts.
Naz also lectures in higher learning institutions in Malaysia on subjects of a similar nature, including speaking in seminars and workshops.
