Background
Mr. Drew Hayes is a graduate of the Texas Tech University College of Architecture with a Master of Architecture degree. As a registered architect in the state of Texas, he has over 22 years of architectural building, site, planning, construction, remodel/adaptive reuse, and development design experience in a variety of commercial market sectors including retail, restaurant, mixed use, automotive, industrial, education, medical, multi-family residential, parking structures, and performing arts venues.
Mr. Hayes is also highly experienced in all phases of design, facilities management, and construction management, including conceptual design, existing conditions evaluation, schematic programming, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, construction observation, accessibility review, and contract document administration. Mr. Hayes has worked extensively with civil, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, acoustical, and electrical engineers to deliver building and site designs, and incorporate building functionality, performance and efficiency, and life-safety.
As a forensic architect, Mr. Hayes applies his extensive architectural and development design and construction experience to the analysis and investigation of residential, commercial, and industrial property issues, including foundation movements, roofing installation, building envelope failures, accessibility compliance, hail damage evaluation, premises liability, moisture intrusion/water damage, general construction defect determinations, and A/E standard of care for commercial and residential properties.
