Background

Gregg Davidson is a Chartered Building Services Engineer with nine years of experience in the built environment. He has expertise in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and in public health system design and has led multidisciplinary teams through concept and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover stages, particularly within the healthcare, defence, and commercial sectors.

Gregg has led large asset-conditioning surveys for University and Healthcare Estates; investigated and rectified performance and reliability issues with HVAC systems; overseen the installation, commissioning, and witnessing of building services packages; supervised factory acceptance testing of equipment; and inspected installations for workmanship quality, regulatory non-compliances, and deviations from design specifications.

He has supported main contractors and specialist subcontractors during the construction of new builds, retrofits, and refurbishments, with strong experience coordinating installations, CDM and HSE risks, buildability, and due diligence design reviews through to handover certification.

Gregg is proficient in BIM, having developed Revit MEP models from RIBA Stage 3 to 5. He has also administered minor works JCT construction contracts and has authored technical reports in support of variations and claims.
