Background

Faye is a highly experienced chartered quantity surveyor and testifying quantum expert with over three decades of experience in the built environment industry. She leads the Quantum capability at Rimkus, a global consulting and expert services firm providing expert witness, advisory and consulting services to the construction, engineering, insurance and legal sectors worldwide.

Faye supports a variety of construction and engineering clients, helping them to avoid, mitigate, and resolve disputes. She is regularly involved in dispute resolution processes both domestically and internationally. Her work as a quantum expert spans disputes in building, shipbuilding, renewables, engineering, and oil and gas, both nationally and internationally. She is an accredited practising member of the Academy of Experts and an RICS Accredited Expert Witness. Faye has extensive experience providing expert evidence and witness testimony in high-value, high-profile disputes and has been cross-examined by leading counsel on numerous occasions on matters of quantum. She has provided expert opinion and advice, participated in joint expert meetings, and contributed to the preparation of joint statements.

Faye’s clients, including both contractors and client organisations, benefit from the breadth of experience she has gained working with contractors and consultants across a wide range of sectors. During the first 20 years of her career, she developed extensive knowledge of the construction process, working for various contractors through roles as a quantity surveyor and commercial manager, leading large, multidisciplinary teams on multimillion-pound projects from inception to completion.  Her sector experience spans residential (housing, university accommodation, flats/apartments), commercial, large-scale mixed-use developments, education, hotels, healthcare, power plants, shipbuilding, aviation, rail, and sports stadiums. She continues to undertake independent advisory work on live projects, ensuring her experience remains grounded in current industry practice.

Testifying Experience

Faye is experienced in providing both written and oral evidence and has presented expert evidence on matters of quantum in litigation and adjudication proceedings. She has given testimony and been cross-examined by Leading Counsel.
