Background

Chris has over 25 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industries specialises in programming, time analysis, and review of associated cost. He has undertaken a number of site-based programming and time administration roles assisting Contractors and Principals at tender and during construction. His analytical works include the assessment of delay, disruption, acceleration, and associated costs.

Chris is experienced in the preparation of reports for a range of projects and topics including time and cost management as well as preparation and presentation of reports in the formal contract environment. Working closely with project staff, senior management, and legal teams, he has also advised clients in the areas of contract management, project costs, and the preparation and assessment of claims. He has assisted clients in both Australia and New Zealand by providing delay and cost advice in various forms of dispute resolution and has provided expert evidence, including being cross-examined.

As a programmer and planner, Chris has been involved in both the preparation and review of contractors’ programs for the purposes of feasibility studies, tenders, and site contractual planning requirements. Chris’s programming experience extends to many areas of building, civil, and engineering works including high-rise construction, hospitals, research and education facilities, retail and commercial precincts, oil and gas, road work, rail, and tunnel projects.

This exposure and experience enable Chris to undertake programming and delay analysis and to offer advice and prepare independent reports on construction project issues, costing, dispute avoidance, and resolution.
