Leyla Coskun, BSc, MSc

Background

Leyla is an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Quantum Expert with over a decade of experience in the built environment industry. She is part of the Quantum team at Rimkus, a global consulting and expert services firm that provides expert witness, advisory, and consulting services to the construction, engineering, insurance, and legal sectors worldwide.

She works with a broad range of construction and engineering clients and is frequently engaged in dispute resolution matters, both in the UK and internationally. She has been appointed as Quantum Expert in adjudication and has undertaken lead assistant roles to the lead Quantum Expert in numerous adjudications and arbitrations, both nationally and internationally.

Prior to specialising in quantum and dispute resolution, Leyla held quantity surveying and commercial management positions on live construction projects with major contractors and cost consultancies. This practical experience gives her a detailed understanding of how construction projects are procured and delivered, enabling her to assess complex quantum issues.

Leyla’s overall career experience spans a range of industries, including telecoms infrastructure, rail, oil & gas, marine, aviation, high-end residential development, and commercial office projects, undertaken both in the UK and overseas.
