Course Description: Biomechanics of Slips and Falls is a one-hour course designed to educate participants on the methodology of investigating slip-and-fall accidents, with a focus on the role of biomechanical analysis. The presentation explains how biomechanical principles are applied during data collection and analysis, alongside standard accident investigation procedures. Case studies will demonstrate the impact of biomechanical analysis at both expert and practical engineering levels. The course also reviews the types of investigative reports adjusters should expect and highlights common pitfalls to avoid.
