Background
Gary is an expert forensic planner with over 35 years of experience working in the UK and internationally, for consultants, client organisations, and contractors.
Over the last 15 years, Gary has specialised in forensic planning and delay analysis and has also been engaged as an independent expert in an advisory role, assisting clients in the production and/or defence of extension of time (EOT) claims.
Gary is conversant with the various forms of delay analysis methodologies and is a fully competent practitioner of manual- and computer-aided planning and project control techniques and systems.
Gary has extensive software experience in planning applications such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3e, Primavera P3, SureTrak, Asta Power Project, Microsoft Project, CS Project, Plantrac, and Trackstar.
Gary has been instructed in respect of formal dispute resolution proceedings acting as an independent expert (under CPR35) and has been instrumental in assisting the parties and their advisors in the resolution in a number of mediations, adjudications, and litigation.
Gary has knowledge and understanding of all the major forms of contract which include, JCT, NEC, ICE, ICC, FIDIC, and other bespoke forms.
