Background
Mr. Erik Wight joined Rimkus in March 2025 as a Senior Code Consultant. Mr. Wight is a certified building official and licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine. He has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry as a builder, code official, code consultant, and plans examiner. He has conducted thousands of plan reviews and inspections of all types of buildings, ranging from restaurants, hospitals, podiums, to assisted living, casinos, and high rises. Mr. Wight’s expertise covers a wide range of disciplines, including building, accessibility, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection. His vast experience enables him to aptly identify and troubleshoot potential code issues and recommend viable solutions to clients.
