Background

Mr. John Mahan is a seasoned construction, development, and facility operations expert with over 40 years of experience in project management, construction contracts, project planning, owners’ representation, construction monitoring, and operations.  Mr. Mahan studied aeronautical engineering at Wentworth Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, from 1979 to 1982.  Mr. Mahan also studied Steam engineering at Peterson School of Engineering in 1985.  Mr. Mahan also attended training in HUD REAC inspections and certification in 2000.

Mr. Mahan spent the majority of his early years working with industry leaders in the life science and hospitality sectors as an owner’s representative and operations professional. During Mr. Mahan’s later years, his focus was on new ground up construction, existing facility renovations, and due diligence during the pre-purchase phase.

Mr. Mahan has participated in many local professional organizations, including the Hotel Engineers Association and the Electrical Council of New England, and served as a volunteer member and chairperson of the “Automatic Sprinkler Appeals Board” for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
