Background
Mr. Robert (Rob) Petronio joined Rimkus (formerly Commercial Construction Consulting, LLC) as a Mechanical Engineer CO-OP in 2021. He was adopted into the plumbing group of Rimkus’ design team and has continued to contribute since becoming a full-time employee in September 2022. Mr. Petronio has been involved in a variety of design and construction administration projects including ground-up high-rise construction, full building repositioning, medical and lab gas design, boiler plant replacements, restaurant and kitchen fit-outs, office fit-outs, and more. Aside from design, he also engages in consulting and investigation to guide clients through plumbing issues.
Mr. Petronio graduated from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2022 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and played defense on the men’s varsity lacrosse team. He earned his Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification for Mechanical in May of 2023 and became Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) in April of 2024. Mr. Petronio has been a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) since September 2022.
