BACKGROUND:

A graduate of the Mississippi Highway Patrol Academy, Mr. Mike Cain was a Mississippi State Highway Trooper, accident investigator, and reconstructionist.

He has extensive experience in the fields of motor vehicle collision investigation and motor vehicle accident reconstruction. His experience and industry knowledge cover over 25 years in the areas of highway safety, accident investigation, and vehicle accident reconstruction. He personally investigated in excess of 1,500 motor vehicle crashes during his tenure with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Mr. Cain’s areas of expertise include crash scene documentation by means of total station documentation, photographic documentation and preservation of scene evidence, Crash Data Retrieval, vehicle damage analysis, speed estimation, pedestrian/bicycle-involved collisions, and commercial vehicle accident investigation.
