Background

Chantel is a chartered structural engineer with 11 years of experience in both design and fabrication.  She has extensive practice in working in multi-disciplinary teams in order to successfully deliver complex major projects and analysis of delay claims (Delay in Start-up (DSU), BI, Construction).

Chantel has 10 years of experience in offshore projects in design and analysis as well as experience as Lead Engineer on a major offshore oil and gas project.  She also has site experience in the Hyundai Heavy Industries construction yard in South Korea.  In addition, she has worked as a structural engineer working in the nuclear industry in Paris and is fluent in French.

Chantel has experience working in the UK, France, and South Korea.

Over the last 5 years, Chantel’s technical experience has enabled her to understand the intricacies of construction delays and utilise her knowledge in the analysis of delay claims (Delay in Start-up (DSU), BI, Construction).

Chantel is experienced in NEC and other bespoke forms of Contract.

Education and Certifications

  • First-Class Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, MEng (Hons): Imperial College London (2008) with final year in Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris, France).
