Background
Bhavina is an ARB-registered Chartered Architect with more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry as a designer and project manager. She has an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London.
She is a visiting lecturer, tutor, and examiner at the University of Westminster teaching on the Architecture Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice (RIBA Part III).
Bhavina has experience within a broad range of sectors, including hospitality, residential and commercial, elderly living, urban master planning and domestic. She continues to practice as an architect to ensure she is at the forefront of best practice.
Bhavina specialises in the forensic analysis of design and construction defects and related contractual obligations. Bhavina has been appointed on various disputes providing reports and expert advice in the fields of architecture and construction, including construction defects, professional negligence, design copyright issues, and BIM modelling. She has a broad knowledge of UK and internation design standards and compliance. She is experienced in design management and project management and has completed technical reviews of drawings and reports for quality and optimisation of design. She contributes to complex disputes and undertakes technical advisory reports in construction insurance-related matters and provides advice and contract troubleshooting.
Bhavina has also been instructed in disability accommodation matters support personal injury-litigated cases in court.
