
Background
Mr. Brian Harting obtained a B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a concentration on structural engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Oregon, Washington, Florida, Nevada, and Oklahoma.
His broad experience and industry knowledge include civil and structural engineering design, project and construction management, civil and structural evaluations, general contracting, and contract management across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, mixed-use, transportation, and industrial projects.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Harting conducts forensic investigations of construction defects involving roofing systems, building envelopes, waterproofing, structural failures, geotechnical evaluations, and foundation evaluations. He evaluates commercial, residential, and transportation property damage to determine the origin, cause, and extent of damage, as well as preparing repair scopes.
Mr. Harting began his career working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in the Bridge Division where he was involved with the design of new and renovated state-owned bridge projects. He later transitioned to the Construction Field Division, where he was responsible for overall construction oversight of a large interchange in downtown Oklahoma City.
After spending time in the public sector, Mr. Harting transitioned to private civil and structural engineering firms.
