Mr. Donald Lucas is a seasoned building consultant with over 30 years of hands-on experience spanning residential and commercial construction, insurance adjusting, and real estate brokerage. Mr. Lucas has spent his career on construction job sites examining damage claims, scoping repairs, developing cost of repair estimates, analyzing contractor repair scopes and pricing, navigating complex insurance claims and appraisals, and guiding repairs from the ground up.
Mr. Lucas excels at translating technical construction details into clear, practical solutions, preparing precise cost estimates, conducting thorough property and structural evaluations, and serving as a trusted partner to homeowners, insurance carriers, and attorneys alike on challenging insurance claims and litigation matters.
Mr. Lucas has an extensive background and firsthand knowledge of construction trades, including excavating, concrete and masonry, framing, roofing, interior and exterior finishes, landscape, as well as construction management, contract management, general contractor standard of care, building codes, and building inspections.
