Jeslyn Khoo, MSc, BSc (Hons), FCIArb, MMIArb
Associate Director, Quantum

Background
Jeslyn is a Construction Claims and Dispute Consultant with over 10 years of working experience in the construction dispute resolution field. She has been actively involved in providing assistance to expert witnesses in terms of quantum assessments for matters including extra-over costs differential, loss and expenses, insurance claims, variations, and damages claims. She has experience in power plant, oil and gas, high-rise building, infrastructure, and land reclamation works.
Notably, Jeslyn was recently engaged in a large-scale international arbitration involving a dispute valued at over US$ 1 billion. Jeslyn has been involved in several major time/cost claims and arbitrations in relation to landmark projects. She has also assisted solicitors in litigation matters and was engaged on a major mixed-development project where she was responsible for contract administration, Extension of Time (EOT) applications, and other potential contractual and contentious matters. Her experience further extends to the preparation and management of claims involving progress valuations, variations, materials on site, and loss and expense, particularly in adjudication and arbitration forums. In one significant adjudication case, she successfully defended a claim brought by a main contractor, drawing on a combination of jurisdictional and quantum-based arguments.
Jeslyn also advises clients from the construction industry on matters such as delay and quantum claims, EOT matters, variation orders, and others. Jeslyn has provided regular retainer services for various projects to clients. She has assisted counsel in arbitration proceedings with preparing submissions, drafting witness statements, drafting procedural correspondences, preparing cross-examination, drafting closing submissions, and conducting research.
