Background
Mr. Matthew Solander is a seasoned CAD Technician and has developed 7 years of CAD and Revit drafting experience and construction experience with his time at Rimkus (formerly Commercial Construction Consulting, LLC). Mr. Solander graduated from the New England Institute of Art in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts and Animation, with a concentration in video game design, while gaining the necessary knowledge of Autodesk-related software.
Mr. Solander spent his early career in a wide range of work experiences. His first job out of college was with Wayfair.com as a 3D modeler and designer where he set up photo-realistic images in 3D programs such as 3ds Max and Photoshop. He then became a Kitchen Designer at The Home Depot designing kitchens with 2020 Design for clients. He eventually joined Rimkus as a CAD Drafter in part due to his knowledge of Autodesk-related software similar to CAD and Revit programs. Mr. Solander has since enhanced his knowledge of CAD and Revit programs through on-the-job training.
