Background

Nasir Khan is an engineer, chartered quantity surveyor, chartered procurement specialist, and an expert in construction law claims advisory and dispute resolution. Nasir uses his 20 years of experience in the construction, engineering, and infrastructure industry to help clients understand their risks, avoid and resolve disputes. His technical, legal, and commercial knowledge puts him ahead to avoid and resolve major causes of disputes.

Nasir has experience of drafting and administering most major forms of contracts and provides advice on standard suites and bespoke forms. He has fellowship of various institutions and acts as an advisor, expert, mediator, adjudicator, and arbitrator. Nasir is versatile and well-versed in all aspects of major projects in sectors including energy, utilities, commercial property, oil and gas, manufacturing, ports, highways, and rail. He has led large and complex contracts and procurement programs, claims and dispute resolution on quantum, delay, and technical engineering issues. His approach is direct, giving the honest view on the issue, applying commercial common sense in all aspects. He is known by clients for interpersonal skills, expert knowledge and streamlined interpretation of the matter, and finding a solution that is in the best interest of all stakeholders.

Nasir is the current chair of the UK Construction Industry Council (CIC) Liability Panel and founding Director and vice chair of the CIArb Pakistan Branch. He co-founded Muslims in Rail, a community interest company, sits on various charitable advisory boards and he was awarded an MBE for his services to equality, diversity, and inclusion by Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Nasir is responsible for managing the overall delivery and takes a lead role in agreeing new appointments, as well as managing the technical deliverables.
