Background

Rab is a Chartered Engineer with 20 years of global experience in complex construction projects with a particular focus on the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Since 2017, Rab has been appointed as a technical expert on more than 30 occasions and has engaged in expert witness work in international arbitration, litigation, adjudication, and mediation for disputed values over of GDP£300 million and supported projects valued in excess of GDP£3 billion. He has advised counsel on matters relevant to the construction project lifecycle across Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.

Rab has previously worked as a principal contractor on major projects in the aviation, IT, and energy sectors. He has successfully implemented building services designs and managed a variety of specialist sub-contract packages and a large building services workforce.

Rab is a specialist in commissioning activities and soft landing procedures regarding building performance. He is experienced in the installation, design, and commissioning of adiabatic cooling, BMS, CHP, fans, gasifiers, heating and cooling circuits, pumps, steam, condensate loops, VAV, VRF, and VRV systems. He has supported clients regarding contract tender, management, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance matters.
